Marianne Johnson, executive vice president at Elavon, has been named a winner of the
Profiles in Diversity Journal® 13th annual Women Worth Watching® Award. As Global Head of Product & Innovation, Marianne Johnson leads a dynamic team of industry experts responsible for creating and delivering new products and innovations that drive growth and expand Elavon’s geographic footprint.

“At Elavon, we’re not just talking about innovation, we’re making it happen. We’ve created our own unique center of excellence around eCommerce and mCommerce, called “the grove,”, where industry experts come together to design and implement market leading solutions through agile and groundbreaking approaches.  The grove is truly a customer centric innovation engine that expands our product and solution offerings and enables our customers to grow as a result. I’m so proud to be a part of this exciting project and watch Elavon’s progressive evolution that comes from it,” she says.

With approximately 190 employees under her leadership, Marianne oversees new product software development and full product lifecycle management across multiple global product lines. “My team and I are focused on leading change by delivering results that continue to position Elavon for competition in a globally disruptive marketplace.”

Prior to Elavon, Marianne served as a key driver of strategic growth at Equifax as Senior Vice President of U.S. Growth and Operations. In this role, Marianne successfully delivered new product innovation that resulted in significant revenue growth, and served as an impetus for future innovations.

While at Equifax, Marianne also led the global development and support of real-time marketing solutions, business intelligence, computing innovations, decisioning and New Product Innovation. In her last role with the company, she helped drive strategic growth as the Senior Vice President for North America. Before Equifax, Marianne held positions at Advance Receivable Strategy Inc. and Medaphis.

Marianne’s community involvements include active volunteerism with United Way, Women Leaders in Action and Food for the Poor. She is also very active in a number of industry associations including the Technology Association of Georgia, the Hospital Financial Management Association, and Women in Technology, where she serves as a member of the board. In 2008, Marianne was selected as Woman of the Year by Women in Technology for the Enterprise Category and honored as a Turknett Leadership Character Award Nominee.
