Ruth Fornell Joins ACI

Atlanta executive Ruth Fornell has accepted a position with ACI Worldwide, a leading global provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions. She will become Executive Vice President of the ACI On Premise Solution Portfolio, effective immediately. In this role, Fornell will be responsible for ACI On Premise product portfolios and will be accountable for driving the product strategies and solution strategies that align to the long-term growth and profitability goals of ACI’s business.

Fornell had previously served as Senior Vice President of Global Professional Services for NCR Corporation. In that role, she led a team of 3,000+ professionals and was responsible for delivering technical and business consulting services around the globe.

Other senior leadership roles at NCR included executive partner to NCR’s Chairman and CEO, with responsibility for strategy development and executive communications; vice president and general manager of NCR Payment & Imaging Solutions; vice president of NCR Financial Services for Europe; and vice president of NCR Financial Services Software and Professional Services.

Fornell has served as a member of the Executive Board for the Technology Services Industry Association. She was co-director of the Teradata Center for Customer Relationship Management at Duke University and a member of the board of trustees for the Marketing Science Institute. She was honored in 2016 as one of Georgia's Most Powerful & Influential Women by the Georgia Diversity Council.
