More than 250 nonprofit community partner leaders gathered at The Coca-Cola Company’s global headquarters in Atlanta on Oct. 25 for its 2nd Community Engagement Summit. The full day of collaboration explored new ways to collectively tackle today’s most pressing societal challenges and maximize our shared impact.
Senior leaders teamed up for a panel discussion on how TCCC brings our purpose to “Refresh the World and Make a Difference” to life in local communities through philanthropic giving, employee volunteerism and strategic partnerships. The conversation highlighted how the company is strengthening community and nonprofit partners relationships into the business through the launch of three Equity Accountability Councils.
Innovators in the areas of economic empowerment, sustainability, marketing and youth development delivered inspiring keynote remarks throughout the day. Additionally, attendees made meaningful connections with fellow nonprofit leaders, sharing learnings and fostering connections to drive progress against shared goals.
This event revealed the incredible opportunity we have to carpool on the path to making a difference,” Joanna Price, Chief Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability Officer, NAOU, said in her remarks. “We can move faster when we collaboratively create new ways of driving systemic change by staying open-minded and defining what success looks like together.”
