Atlanta Fed Announces Vice President of Corporate and Central Bank Services

Gina Gibson has been appointed vice president of Corporate and Central Bank Services for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Assistant vice president of Financial Management and Planning (FM&P) since 2019, Gibson will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Sixth District in areas including cost and financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting in her new role.

 

Gibson joined the Federal Reserve in 2006 as an auditor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. She transferred to the Atlanta Fed in 2007 as a senior auditor and has held numerous roles in the Auditing Department. In her latest role, Gibson led the implementation of Budget Share Services in 2020, when the FM&P Budget team assumed responsibility for managing and monitoring individual business line budgets and expenses and creating efficiencies in business line budget processes. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, and business from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia.

 

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Atlanta Fed participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks, and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the US government.
