NCR Executive Vice President of the Chief Administration Office and Chief Human Resources Officer Andrea Ledford has been named to the Metro Atlanta Chamber Innovation & Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.

As a member of this prestigious group, Ledford will serve alongside other C-level executives, local university presidents, investors, and representatives from Invest Atlanta and the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Together, they will work to position Atlanta as a top-tier global competitor that will continue to attract new companies and talent, while leading the region to a more prosperous and vibrant future.

“Being named to the Metro Atlanta Chamber Advisory Board is a well-deserved recognition for Andrea, who was an early proponent for moving NCR’s Global Headquarters Campus to Midtown Atlanta,” said NCR Chairman and CEO Bill Nuti. “Andrea will use her vast knowledge and expertise to help the Chamber realize our shared vision of helping Atlanta become the Silicon Valley of the East.”

The appointment will allow Ledford to further NCR’s strategic priorities, including the company’s many partnerships with the university system of Georgia. NCR recruits heavily from local schools for both internships and full-time and ‘gateway’ hires. The company also funds a variety of technology and STEM-focused scholarship programs for Georgia students and is a sponsor of Women in Technology, an advocacy group for women and girls pursing STEM careers.

NCR recently opened its new global headquarters campus, which will be home to approximately 5,000 skilled professionals. The state-of-the-art campus will be roughly 750,000 square feet of space when completed. It is comprised of two office towers situated at the corner of 8th and Spring streets in the heart of burgeoning Midtown Atlanta. Areas of the campus will be accessible to the public and the lecture hall is already being utilized to co-host events for students from local universities including Georgia Tech.
